What We Do

Everything we do is customized for your specific needs. Just as every individual is unique, so is every business and organization. We assess what you do and how you do it. This helps us address your concerns and create a training plan that is specific and applicable. What we do for a private school staff is different from what we do for EMS Providers. The principles of Self-Protection don't change, but how you apply them will look very different.

  • Risk, Threat and Crisis Management.
  • The difference in application for Civilian, Security/Police or Military.
  • Self-Protection and survival is a mindset above all else.
  • Proactive and critical thinking is essential.
  • Having "a" plan is better than no plan.
  • Situational Awareness is a skill that must and can be learned.
  • If you have to fight your way out of a situation there are proven techniques that work.
  • Training is the setting to learn what doesn't work, what to do and what not to do.
  • Good decision making can help us avoid or escape worst case scenarios.
  • There are many fallacies related to self-defense and martial arts. We examine, expose and show you what really works and why.

Here are some of the types of trainings we provide:

We will train any individual or family the tactics and techniques of Self Protection. This can be in a private setting at our facility, your facility, house or any space you feel comfortable training in. This includes self-protection in everyday life, how to protect your home and loved ones.

We can train any group of individuals no matter what reason or purpose they are together. This includes volunteer groups, friends, co-workers, students or any other group.

We train a variety of businesses. We can train any staff large or small to deal with any threat or situation that they may encounter. This includes what to do in the event of a robbery, active shooter, disgruntled customer, or similar situations.

We train a variety of organizations including public and private schools, churches and similar organizations. This includes what to do in the event of attempted kidnappings, active shooters, disgruntled people, and similar situations.

Government Agencies and Groups

We train groups and members of various types including police, swat, EMS, and Military. We currently teach a Self-Protection for EMS to a variety of departments in Maryland. This course is specifically designed for the scenarios and real life threats that EMS providers face on a daily basis.

This course is accredited through MIEMMS Program Code 25789.
